General Information:
Grand Avenue Economic Community Development Corp. known at Pathlight HOME was incorporated in 1992 to provide affordable housing and economic opportunities for low income persons and especially the homeless in Central Florida. Pathlight HOME has been providing affordable housing in Central Florida since 1996 and has grown from its initial 75 units to over 525 units in our community providing permanent housing for the homeless. Rates posted below are subject to change over time. This is a snapshot of the prices in May of 2015: Maxwell Terrace & Maxwell Garden Apartments     (Efficiency Apartments: $469-$525 per month) Reduced rent units at $400 per month for the chronically homeless     No move-in special     $50 deposit and $400 for first month’s rent   Moderate Rehabilitation SRO Apartments SRO affordable housing is located at Maxwell Terrace Apartments, in partnership with the Orlando Housing Authority. Rent is 30% of income with no additional program participation requirements. For more information, or to apply, contact 407.521.6335.   SAMHSA Project Pathlight Home     Mental health and substance abuse counseling Case Management, Nurse case management     Bus passes, advocacy, transportation   Homes for New Beginnings Supportive Housing Program Located at Maxwell Garden Apartments, Homes for New Beginnings provides permanent supportive housing to homeless adults who are disabled. Participation in case management is mandatory as well as random drug and alcohol screenings. Monthly activities are included in the program as well. Rent is 30% of income with a $30 monthly program fee. For more information, or to apply, contact the Maxwell Garden leasing office.   Safe Haven Established in September 2007, Safe Haven provides permanent, supportive housing for chronically homeless adults who are disabled. Support Services include; 24/hour staff, case managers and resident advisors. Participation in case management is mandatory. Rent is 30% of income with a monthly $30 program fee.

Drug And Alcohol Rehab programs are intended to treat alcohol and/or drug dependency.  The cost of participating in one of these programs and the method of treatment range significantly.
