The Rosebrook Foundation Used Horses And Horsemanship Programs In A "Real" Ranch Environment To Reach These "At-Risk" Youth. The Horses For Youth Program, A Weekend And Vacation Camp Program That Gave 12 To 17 Year Olds The Opportunity To Experience A Real Ranch, To Learn About And Work With Horses, And To Learn To Ride - Pointed The Way To The Need For A Program For Teens Emancipating From The Dependent Care System. The Giftt Project Now Prepares 18 To 25 Year Olds In 12 To 24 Month Basic Life Skills And Vocational Career Skills Training For Successful Independent Adult Living. The Goal Of The Rosebrook Foundation Is To Give These Teens The Tools They Need To Make Informed Life Choices That Will Result In Positive Consequences Which Will In Turn Empower These Kids And Lead Them To Success And Happiness In Life.
