More than 60% of its guests are children who average seven years of age. During their stays, Eleanor House residents receive referrals to vital community resources and on-site assistance in exploring their future housing options. Homeless Prevention / Eviction Diversion HRI and consortium of community partners including the City of Kalamazoo District Court and the Michigan Department of Human Services operates the Eviction Diversion Program, to help tenants avoid eviction and to help landlords avoid the expensive eviction process. Affordable Housing Options In addition to working with area landlords to help people find affordable housing, HRI offers four options for low-income households. Pinehurst Townhomes Offers 97 two and three-bedroom units in Oshtemo Township. For leasing information, call 269-375-9900. Summit Park Apartments Located in the City of Kalamazoo, offers 31 one, two, three-bedroom units.
