General Information:
The Gardner House provides for Single Women but we collaborate with the Sober Living Network for referrals for all adults over 18; single men, single women, women and children. Mission Statement Our mission is to provide a sober living environment to our single women which will lead to a life free of drugs and alcohol. This will be accomplished by structure, education and mutual support. Our friendly homes work in a family type environment. We all work together supporting each other emotionally and spiritually while sharing our responsibilities. THE GARDNER HOUSE will provide a cooperative environment that is a safe, clean and sober living arrangement for women. THE GARDNER HOUSE will operate in a manner consistent to achieve the following goals:<br /><br /> Sober Living is essential in promoting individual recovery by allowing personal growth to take place in a nurturing environment. The Gardner house Sober Living environment allows women residents to develop individually in a less structured setting.<br We have 4 goals in Sober Living * Develop and maintain a unified community of women committed to living a drug and alcohol free. * Encourage and promote opportunities for self sufficiency, responsibility and continued education. * Commit to support of house meetings as a means to promote democratic decision making. Establish a solid foundation in recovery and begin changing the behaviors that interfere with recovery. * Residents are responsible for open collaboration and participation in order to attain a sense of community and to achieve the common house goals
