General Information:
Turning Point is an emergency shelter providing programs and resources that enable survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness to regain control of their lives. In case of immediate need, call the crisis line: (586) 463-6990. Turning Point\'s mission is to provide programs and resources that enable victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness to regain control of their lives. Provides 24 hour emergency shelter (up to 30 days maximum stay for women and children), domestic and sexual violence counseling, hospital and court advocacy, case management services, children’s program, community education/prevention, Second Hand Rose Resale Shop, support groups, Families First Program, Forensic Nurse Examiner Program, & Personal Protection Order Assistance.  Macomb county residents are served first. ID is required.
