Class of Housing: Womens and Childrens Emergency Shelter
Hope House is a 45 day emergency shelter for women and their children located in Jersey City and has the capacity to serve 17 families at a time. In addition to shelter, Hope House provides three daily meals, clothing, transportation as needed, and case management services including needs assessment and referrals to a range of services including substance abuse, medical, and mental health treatment and advocacy in obtaining entitlements and benefits. The program is staffed 24/7 and operates at full capacity most of the time.
