Fern House, Inc., a halfway house is located in West Palm Beach, Florida, provides male alcoholics and drug addicts with a supportive, safe, drug and alcohol-free residence in which they can develop the life skills that will enable them to lead productive lives as sober members of our community. Our dedicated and educated staff provides the supervision and guidance necessary to help our clients achieve sustainable sobriety. Our 45-bed facility is consistently at capacity and serves approximately 165 clients annually.
Mission: To help indigent male chronic alcoholics and drug addicts achieve sustained sobriety and return to the mainstream of society as productive, responsible citizens.

Halfway Housing helps transition individuals and families from shelters or homelessness to permanent housing. Length of stay is usually anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Residents are often required to pay at least 30% of their income toward program fees. Sometimes the money they pay in fees is returned to them when they leave.
