Supportive Services for Veteran Families This program aids veterans that are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. HUB (Housing Utilization Building) Laundry, showers, and a hygiene center are available for homeless individuals in the area who qualify for assistance made possible in part by a large community collaboration between over thirty organizations working together to solve homelessness. Cots and Other Emergency Items: The HUB location is also a heating and cooling center for when the weather gets above 100 degrees or below zero. Tiny Home Village This small, six home community is built for individuals who ‘slip through the cracks’.  It has been developed behind the residential building and offices of 318 W. 8th Street, in the heart of Muncie.  The THV is protected from view by a privacy fence and overseen by a case manager on staff a BCS. Some individuals stay in these tiny homes as briefly as less than a week, but others may need more time to find employment and get on their feet.  The goals for these residents are based on each person’s situation. Emergency Shelter (The Inn) Bridges Community Services offers temporary short-term Emergency Shelter for persons displaced because of circumstances affecting their housing rendering them homeless (i.e. furnace failure, frozen pipes, fire, etc.) The emergency shelter is open all year round.
