General Information:
Triangle Center offers Social Setting Detoxification (Detox) services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The primary goal of Triangle Center's Social Setting Detoxification is to provide a safe, medically monitored environment in which an alcohol or substance-abusing client can be observed while he/she safely detoxifies from mood-altering chemicals. The client's admission and continued stay in treatment is based on the presence of withdrawal symptoms, or the possibility that symptoms of withdrawal will present due to recent usage. A client may be admitted for observation to rule out recent usage and the possibility of withdrawal when there is suspicion that one or both may have occurred or may present. The client must be 18 years of age and able to consent to admission to Detox. The client must have no serious physical side effects or known medical conditions that would require medical management to maintain control during withdrawal. This facility has a 6 beds capacity. A clients stay is usually between 1-5 days stay depending on severity of withdrawal. State funding and medicaid accepted. Staff will work with client on referral to intpatient services, or other available services in the community. For more information contact The Triangle Center or visit The Triangle Center website.
