General Information:
We diligently operate a 45 bed Men's Night Shelter for the homeless and other men in need. We also maintain a 5-6 day a week "Day Shelter" for the homeless, for their comfort and protection. We allow no discrimination of any type. Any man is welcome to stay at our shelter for 21 nights before choosing to enter a goal-oriented program. Our programs enable men to gain their own independence by getting a job, keeping a job, living soberly, or providing temporary housing while seeking more permanent residence. We also have 16 beds available for Veterans. On nights under 40 degrees or rainy, we open our doors for Compassion Night Shelter, giving warm safe shelter nights to those who are choosing to live outside. We have sustained a "Breakfast and Supper Soup Kitchen" for over 10 years— feeding more than 150 people a day, 365 days a year. Additionally, our office supports families and single mothers with utilities, rent, clothing and food. Day Shelter Open Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm The day shelter provides a safe area to watch TV, protection from the weather, water and restrooms. Access to counseling and social services is also available. Men's Night Shelter Open 6pm – 9pm for intake ID and a sobriety test are required see also Next Step Program and Homeless Veterans Program Extreme Cold Weather Shelter Nights 40 degrees or below ID and a sobriety test are required Daily Soup Kitchen for those in need – two meals a day, 365 days a year. 7am – 7:30am breakfast 5pm – 5:30pm  supper
