General Information:
The average length of stay is 30 to 45 days. Adult residents that are not caring for infant children must be employed or looking for employment. The shelter has the capacity to house up to 5 families at a time. Safe Haven also has 6 transitional homes. Potential clients must: - Be a family unit, consisting of 1 or 2 parents and at least 1 minor child - Be drug and alcohol free - Be in an emergency situation - Have never stayed at Safe Haven - Be willing to accept responsibilities at the shelter and follow the house rules Adult residents are required to save 75% of their income.
