Class of Housing/Services: Safe shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence.

General Information:
The mission of Harmony House is to provide shelter, advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence and promote the principle that all individuals have the right to a life free of abuse. Emergency Shelter HARMONY HOUSE EMPOWERS SURVIVORS TO REBUILD INDEPENDENT LIVES. Harmony House operates a 168-bed facility designed to provide temporary safe shelter to men, women and children who are escaping domestic violence.  In addition to providing a safe place to recover and rebuild, Harmony House provides the essentials, such as meals, clothing and personal hygiene products. Our shelter program also includes:     Case management     On-site counseling     Life skills classes     Family Advocacy     Transportation assistance     Referrals to other resources as needed
