Independence Place provides permanent housing for low-income families. Families sign a lease and pay 30% of their gross monthly income. The program consists of 7 four-bedroom apartments and 14 two-bedroom apartments. A program called SOME Place for Kids is available providing educational activities and structured recreation fo childrn. Case management is provided.
