Class of Housing: The Eddy Shelter is an emergency homeless shelter for single adult men and women in Middlesex County. The capacity is 30 adults, and up 40 in the winter.
Eddy Shelter provides up to 30 days of emergency shelter for single adult men and women. Pregnant women are accepted but are not allowed to stay after their baby is born. The shelter has the capacity to house up to 30 people and is wheelchair accessible. Clients pay 30% (up to $7 a day) of their net income towards the shelter. Those without an income don't pay anything. Services include: - Meals - Case management - Assistance with securing housing - Clothes are available for shelter guests through donations from the community - Access to healthcare - Crisis Intervention - Counseling - Access to mental health and addiction services if needed For more information contact Eddy Shelter or visit The Connection website.
