Class of Housing/Services: Homeless Shelter for men

General Information:
The McKinney Shelter provides overnights shelter for up to 88 adult males at a time. The shelter operates as a day shelter for men with medical issues. Other services include case management, counseling and referal services. For more information contact the McKinney Shelter or visit the Community Renewal Team website. Clients must be male, age 18 or older, or emancipated youth in possession of appropriate court documentation. Preference is given to Hartford residents when shelter is at or near capacity. Residents must be ambulatory and able to understand and adhere to shelter rules. Hours of Operation: 7 days a week 4:00 p.m. to 8 a.m. With 24 hour staffing available for referrals Self-referrals are accepted. Residents are admitted on a first come first served basis.
