The mission of the Los Angeles House of Ruth is to provide temporary and transitional shelter and supportive services for homeless battered women and their children. For the past 35 years, Los Angeles House of Ruth has provided access to basic needs and essential supportive services to homeless single mothers and their children in Los Angeles County each year to assist them in their transition from crisis situation to self-sufficiency and stable, permanent housing and living.
