Class of Housing/Services: Shelter for men.

General Information:
The Men's Shelter has the capacity to house 20 transient men. The Shelter also provides for up to 45 men enrolled in one of the Mission's long-term programs. Drop-In services are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The Shelter provides: - Showers - Food - Clothes - Counseling - Case management - Work therapy opportunities For more information contact Huntington City Mission or visit the Huntington City Mission website. Clients who participate in the services of The Huntington City Mission receive food, clothing and shelter under the conditions of the Mission policy.  Opportunities for personal improvement in basic education, spiritual life counseling (upon request) and case management services are available to all men and women in our care.  An admission and intake process to properly track clients utilizing Mission provides consistency in services rendered in-house and in the community is required for entry and is mandatory. Zero tolerance for substance abuse is maintained throughout Mission. All clients are required to declare all medications during admission. Our men’s department dorms are divided into the transient dorm, a case management dorm and the Transformers Dorm (a spiritual life dorm for those men in our spiritual life programs).  Entry into the dorms is based upon specific requirements based upon Mission policy.
