Emergency Shelter Homelessness does not discriminate, and we see the results of that every single day. Individuals who have lost their jobs, their families, and their homes. They feel as though they have lost their chance at hope and freedom. Everybody, regardless of their situation, deserves a safe place to spend the night. Every night, seven nights a week, 365 nights a year, we provide emergency overnight accommodations for and average of 70 homeless men and 30 homeless women. Each overnight guest has the ability to take a hot shower, access toiletries and hygiene products, sleep in a clean bed, and have breakfast and fresh hot coffee in the morning. Approximately 38,325 individuals receive the ability to access safe shelter annually at the Providence Rescue Mission because of your help and support.
