Class of Housing/Services: he women's shelter is our general Shelter, which is divided into three parts: Single's Dorm, Women's Dorm and Family Shelter

General Information:
Women's Ministries provides emergency shelter for women and women with children. The program has the capacity to house up to 54 women and children for an average of 30 to 45 days. Facilities provide residents with a bedroom, bathroom, lounge/commons area, dining area, playground and laundry facilities. Services include: - Christian staff - Three meals a day - Bedding and personal hygiene items - Clothing - Staff support 24 hours a day - One-on-one personal conferences - Support groups and Bible studies - Chapel services - Structured activities for children - Haircutting and styling ministry - 10-6 overflow program for single women - Child daycare For more information contact Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or visit the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission website. The Good Samaritan program is the first level of our shelter services. It offers any woman a safe place to sleep for the evening. In addition to a place to sleep, we offer three meals a day, laundry services, hygiene products and clothing vouchers to the Rescued Treasures store.   Shelter The second level of our the women's shelter is our general Shelter, which is divided into three parts: Single's Dorm, Women's Dorm and Family Shelter. This program offers more stability and is a short term solution for women, children and families looking for emergency housing. This program offers the basic needs of Good Samaritan, along with one-on-one staff support, free childcare and job and housing assistance.
