General Information:
Old Savannah City Mission provides emergency shelter for individuals in need. The shelter consists of 40 beds. Showers are required before retiring. - Daily Teaching and Preaching of the Gospel - New or nearly new underwear provided for all overnight guests - Hot, delicious meals served three times daily Service list Provides a title of dignity to those we serve by referring to them as our friends and neighbors. Provides an emergency shelter for our friends and neighbors as a safe haven and an alternative to living on the street. An emergency shelter that provides 40 beds, clothing, shoes, hot meals, and showers 365 days a year. Limited case management assistance, chaplain services and referrals to other community resources. 7 nights of emergency shelter each month.  An opportunity does exist to extend a friend and neighbor’s stay if he is willing to work on a plan to end homelessness, obtain employment, save money, and is willing to enter limited case management services to receive assistance with achieving his goals. Expansion of overnight shelter space during inclement weather.
