Class of Housing/Services: Provides a 5 day emergency shelter

General Information:
The Emergency Services program provides emergency shelter for men women and families. The shelter has the capacity to hous up to 32 men, 12 women and 2 families. Services inlcude 3 meals a day and clothing. For more information contact Panama City Rescue Mission or visit the Panama City Rescue Mission website. 5 Day Shelter: PCRM provides a safe and climate-controlled environment for individuals who need emergency shelter. The emergency shelter program is designed for short-term need, including five-night stay and cold/rainy nights. Clients needing longer term housing or addiction recovery will seek case management through our support center, located at the Sixth Street entrance. Emergency Shelter policy Emergency shelter is considered to be 5-nights, consecutively.  If a client misses a night or comes in late, they will be exited for 30 days. Check-in registration at the downtown campus for men is 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a 6 p.m. curfew. Check-in at Bethel Village Home for Women and Children is 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. curfew. Personal belongings/all bags are subject to being checked. Showers must be taken each evening and chapel service is required. Lights are out is at 9 p.m. Drug, alcohol, violence, weapon and profanity is not allowed, without exception. And clients may be asked to assist in evening clean up. All incidents are reported to the front desk, including incidents of fire, sickness, injury, theft, etc.  Children are not permitted to be left under the custody of another client. In an effort to provide the most suitable and safe environment for all clients, PCRM does not allow sexual offenders to use its emergency shelter services. Emergency Shelter needs The men and women in the emergency shelter need items typically used for adequate hygiene, including, but not limited to:     Bath towels     Pillows     Tooth brushes     Deodorant     Bar soapBath cloths     Bay Town Trolley Passes (daily and monthly) which can be purchased at 1021 Massalina Drive     Combs     Razors     Women’s Underwear     Womens socks     Baby diapers and wipes
