General Information:
Contact Baltimore County Department of Social Services to be referred into a CAN shelter at 410-853-3000 ext. 2. Located in Rosedale, the Eastside Family Shelter provides 125 beds serving women and families. Services include meals, and laundry and shower facilities. Day programming, provided by the Department of Health and Human Services and CAN include case management, housing counseling and housing search assistance, job skills classes, life skills classes and nursing services, as well as child development and recreational activities. Hours: weekdays, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
