General Information:
Provides Transitional Housing for men coming out of jail or prison or homeless. 1 year commitment. A resident program involving a stay of one year forms the structure for the His Way House ministry. It is to be clearly understood that the primary goal is spiritual in orientation, and the goal is to bring men to a position of maturity in Christ, which results in men that are spiritually mature and leading the community. Spiritual restoration is based upon the premise that man lacks the capacity for control of self and does not have the ability to break his addictions. This includes all addictive life styles. Having a degree of desire to find sobriety, and yet having tried unsuccessfully various humanly conceived remedies, he can only be liberated through the acceptance of divine life thorough Jesus Christ. One of the tools used at His Way House is The CLEAN ministry, which shows the individual how to do this. The biblical description of the result of this transaction is given in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." The plan is, "...Not I, but Christ liveth in me" (Gal. 2:20). Each man is provided a comfortable room, good food, facilities, and linens. Each weekday is a vital part of the recovery transition process. This consists of work, activities night (where the men get together with the Pastor and spend the night out doing different things), one-on-one weekly counseling, Bible Study, CLEAN ministry. Along with general up keep of the house. If God has put it on your heart to donate to the His Way House Ministry you can do that through the mail.
