General Information:
The Suffield Housing Authority provides unsubsidized housing to elderly and disabled people capable of independent living. Elderly is defined as age 62 or over. Income limites apply and determine monthly rental fees. Fees are determined annually to reflect changes in residents' expenses, especially medical expenses incurred during the previous year. The Housing Authority administers 70 units of elderly and/or handicapped housing at Maple Court, Laurel Court, and Broder Place, all located off of Bridge Street. The members of the Authority work toward providing comfortable living conditions for its residents.
