Gennesaret Free Clinic is a free clinic that provides a health recovery program for homeless men. Health Recovery Mission To provide homeless men with a safe place to recover and heal their body, mind and soul after an illness or surgery. Each individual will be treated and cared for in a compassionate and holistic manner while maintaining the dignity and respect they deserve. The participants of the Health Recovery Program will be empowered to care for themselves and will also be given the opportunity to better themselves. The Health Recovery Program (HRP) opened in July 2000 to serve homeless men needing a place to recover after an inpatient hospital stay. The HRP is a vital piece of the continuum of care for both homeless providers and area hospitals. The HRP has a staff of devoted professionals that consists of a nurse practitioner, case manager, and two staff members who live on site. Each HRP participant has their own room and access to all basic needs including food, personal hygiene items, and clothing at no charge.
