Cedar Residence is an all Men's Halfway House. Drug and Alcohol free. Licensed by the PA Department of Health. We accept Medical Assistance via the Department of Welfare. Our program offers transportation, employment and education  assistance, professional clinical services, active participation with the 12-step program, as well as 24/7 supervision. Individual therapy, group therapy and in-house meetings.  These are  attributes that can assist our client in maintaining longterm sobriety and reintegrating back into the community. Serenity is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to cope with it. Cedar Residence Men's Step Down Facility is a Pennsylvania State Department of Health licensed facility providing drug and alcohol services to males 18 years of age and older with a desire to remain abstinent from drugs and alcohol. The purpose of our program is to provide an environment where individuals, treated with dignity and respect, can learn to confront their addiction and learn how to use the resources and supports that will aid them in their goal of abstinence from alcohol and other chemicals and return to being responsible community and family members. Criteria for admission are as follows. Client must be male and 18 years of age or older History of drug and alcohol abuse Motivated for treatment & Recovery Physically capable of self care Payment Method  Private Pay  Managed Care/Medicaid
