The Montgomery County Homeless Coalition (MCHC) is an alliance of individuals, agencies, and organizations that provide supporting services to the homeless. Operating under a community collaboration strategy, the Homeless Coalition:
-Assesses the services and housing needs of the homeless population
-Coordinates grant proposals,
-Inventories existing resources,
-Identifies gaps in housing services,
-Advises the community on homeless issues, and
-Advocates for affordable housing.

Rooming and Boarding Houses do charge fees. We list them where we find them. They are a nice low cost option for housing.
