General Information:
Homeless Services In 2006, the Homeless Alliance purchased property at NW 3rd and Virginia to develop a campus for homeless services in Oklahoma City. The mission for the WestTown campus is to bring service providers together to prevent and address homelessness through effective collaboration. All activity will be client-focused and based on best business practices, driven by the ultimate goal of helping people achieve and maintain safe, secure and affordable housing. As a first step to realizing a campus for homeless services, the Alliance is building an 18,000 square foot resource center designed to offer a variety of services for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness that is projected to open in December, 2010. It is currently anticipated that the facility will be operated by the Homeless Alliance, which will be responsible for provision of some services, oversight, information and communication technology and facility management.
