General Information:
LIFT seeks to assist homeless families with dependent children or those at imminent risk of becoming homeless due to an impending eviction. Provides intensive case management, life-skills training, and housing for a period of 18-24 months. Eligibility: Madison County resident; homeless or about to become homeless; at least one person employed with verifiable income; ability to pass a criminal background check; and the desire to become self-sufficient by programs end. Services: Transitional Housing and Shelter. Overview: Non-profit agency providing comprehensive, prevention-based family support programs and professional counseling to residents of North Alabama and South Central Tennessee. Site hours: Monday - Thurs 8AM-6PM. Fri 8AM-12PM. Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource.
