General Information:
Provides permanent supportive housing. Housing and support services provided for 87 individuals 6 additional residences available in 2014 Coaching for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and coping skills Laurel House operates several supported housing programs in Connecticut, each offering varying levels of support with specific criteria for eligibility. Residents learn independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning and doing laundry. They work together with a Life Skills Coach to identify and pursue their personal goals through an individualized support plan.  In addition, residents are helped to access psychiatrists, medical doctors, entitlements and other services and benefits to support their journey in recovery.

Supportive Housing Programs that provide an alternative living arrangement for individuals who, because of age, disability, substance abuse, mental illness, chronic homelessness or other circumstances, are unable to live independently without care, supervision and/or support to help them in the activities of daily living; or who need access to case management, housing support, vocational, employment and other services to transition to independent living.
