General Information:
Long Term Transitional Housing. 20-unit, 118 bed, two-bedroom apartment campus offers up to two years of housing and support services to women and children who have resided in an emergency shelter and who require additional time to attain emotional and financial self-sufficiency. All residents receive professional, individual and group counseling on a weekly basis during their stay. Strong case management that focuses on education, budgeting, time management and self-sufficiency is a critical part of this program. All adult residents are required to work and/or attend vocational training to avail themselves of support services and agree to save 30% of all income. Emergency shelter accepts women and their children (boys and girls younger than 18 years) and women who are physically disabled and/or in wheelchairs. May accept women with mental/emotional disabilities, depending on severity. Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource.
