Class of Housing/Services: Transitional Housing, Permanent housing. Project PLASE has been dedicated to ending homelessness in Baltimore for nearly 40 years. We provide homeless men and women the means to build a new foundation for their lives through housing and support servi

General Information:
Project PLASE serves approximately 450 individuals in our Transitional and Permanent Housing programs each year and thousands over the past 36 years. We bring hope, restore dignity and end the cycle of homelessness for clients and their families. Our work is a communal effort. Project PLASE relies on dedicated volunteers and supporters to make our work possible. Project PLASE fills all open beds from our waiting list as they become available. To get on the waiting list, call Tracie at 410-837-1400, Ext. 221. Some beds at Project PLASE are reserved for people who meet certain criteria such as mental illness or HIV infection. Persons seeking housing may be asked if they meet these criteria. If no space is available at this time, the name will be placed on our waiting list. Transitional Housing Transitional housing provides adult men and women with a safe place to achieve stability and address the underlying problems contributing to their homelessness before moving on to permanent housing. Permanent Housing Permanent housing possibilities include Project PLASE's Shelter Plus Care Program and the Project PLASE based Single Room Occupancy Program.
