General Information:
The Bridge House is a 20 bed homeless shelter, in Plymouth, NH, that serves Grafton County and New Hampshire’s North Country and partners with individuals and families to help them transition to affordable, permanent housing. The Bridge House 20 plus bed homeless shelter serves men, women and children of the Lakes Region, Grafton County and the North Country.  The shelter was built in 2005 and provides for participants’ physical needs while they work on finding solutions to get back to healthy independence.  It includes comfortable bedrooms, a kitchen for daily meals, a library and a computer room, plus a large living space where participants and staff interact. Most of the rooms at the shelter are shared; family rooms are available.  Communal meals are prepared by the residents themselves, Bridge House staff or outside groups who volunteer to take part in the community.
