Class of Housing/Services: homeless access point. many types of assistance services.

General Information:
The CARE CENTER is the main entry point in Richmond for people experiencing homelessness in West County. Clients can access an array of services, assessments, and referrals to resources. The CARE Center will enhance the services already provided around basic needs (shower, facilities, food and laundry) and referrals. The CARE Center will expand to include the following services: Case management services Benefits enrollment Health Care and Mental Health Services Substance use disorder treatment through Drug Medi-Cal Certification Housing search assistance with on-site Housing Navigators Screening and referrals for utility assistance The CARE Center will operate from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday Intake hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for Walk –in 8am – 5pm Participants must be present at 9am and the first three qualifying clients signed in will be processed. Thursday – Friday By appointment for established clients who have completed the intake process. The following services are available to clients who have completed the intake process: Laundry – 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Mail – 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Showers – 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
