General Information:
The Samaritan Center is an interfaith non-profit organization providing shelter and support for homeless families of Indian River County. Families enter our 12-18 month program to develop a permanent solution to their homeless situation. Samaritan Center provides housing, employment, counseling, financial management, job training, transportation, liaison with other agencies, parenting classes and case management services to residents of our program. Catholic Charities Diocese of Palm Beach sponsors Samaritan Center which is supported locally by: Holy Cross Catholic Church, St. Helen Catholic Church, United Way, Indian River County Children\'s Services Advisory Council, John’s Island Foundation, John’s Island Service League, Community Church, Grand Harbor Community Outreach, and other private foundations and donors. This program is open to all homeless families regardless of faith, race or religion. Contact for more information during office hours: Mondays through Fridays 8:30am - 4:30pm.
