Buddy Eller Center provides shelter for homeless adults 18 years of age or older (except for registered sex offenders). Depending on compliancy with their agency and others, Mendocino County residents can stay up to 180 days (Non-Mendocino County residents to stay for 2 nights) free of charge. The shelter has 64 beds but can add 10 floor beds during winter months. The shelter is open at 6pm for intakes (new guests only). Shelter staff also can do intakes until 4am.
