General Information:
The Pathways Center for families is a shelter program of Greensboro Urban Ministry. Our purpose is to provide homeless families a safe, temporary environment to live while they are searching for other housing.  The Pathways Center shelters 16 families. Each family has a private studio living area. There is no fee to stay at the Pathways Center. Case managers work with families to help them move as quickly as possible back into permanent housing. Pathways Center for families is more than a temporary shelter for parents and their children. It is a place to plan, learn new skills, work with a case manager and share time with a devoted group of volunteers who want the 16 families living in the center to know that they are not alone in their journey back to stability. Eligibility Guidelines:     Must be a resident of the Greater Greensboro area     Must have income (employment, child support, disability, Work First, etc.)     Must have children living with you at the Pathways Center     Must have custody of all the children living with you at the Pathways Center Greensboro Urban Ministry actively works toward a day when no one is without shelter by keeping families and individuals housed and re-housing those who have lost their housing.
