General Information:
Dutchess County Coalition for the Homeless provides overnight shelter for homeless adults. The shelter has the capacity to house up to 12 people at a time. Services include: - Dinner - Breakfast - Shower facilities - Laundry facilities - Advocacy - Referral services - Case management For more information contact Hudson River Housing or visit the Hudson River Housing website. After-Hours Emergency Placement (AHEP) HRH facilitates emergency placement of adults and families who find themselves homeless due to non-disaster related circumstances and outside of the regular business hours of the Dutchess County Department of Social Services. (The American Red Cross should be contacted at (845) 471-2000 for assistance when homelessness is related to a disaster, such as a fire.) AHEP services can be accessed by calling (845) 471-8454 after 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday and anytime Saturday, Sunday, or holidays when the Department of Social Services is closed.
