General Information:
The Supportive Housing Collaboration provides housing subsidies for homeless families referred from shelters in the Greater Hartford region. Families can stay in the program for up to 2 years. Other services include: - Case management - Life skills training - Employment and education - Substance abuse counseling - Mental health counseling Clients must have some form of income and be clean and sober for at least 90 days. Supportive Housing Programs that provide an alternative living arrangement for individuals who, because of age, disability, substance abuse, mental illness, chronic homelessness or other circumstances, are unable to live independently without care, supervision and/or support to help them in the activities of daily living; or who need access to case management, housing support, vocational, employment and other services to transition to independent living.
