Soul's Harbor provides emergency shelter and 3 meals a day. For more information contact Soul's Harbor. Services offered: Provides shelter for men who need help finding employment, housing and ways to meet their basic needs. Intake: Call for information. Fees: No fee for service. Eligibility: Contact agency for requirements. Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Mon. - Fri. Documents: Drivers license or photo ID. Souls Harbor is a Faith-based transitional living facility dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men with dignity and respect for each individual. Structured programs encourage positive life changes with a focus on spiritual growth, continuing education, sustainable employment and life management (including recovery from substance abuse). Together, men can find a new way of life and restoration as productive members of the community Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses. The naming of the two (Halfway House OR Transitional House) is oftentimes interchangeable.

Many Transitional Housing programs are subsidized and are income based. Income based transitional housing generally charges 30% of your income for rent when you do have income. Contact the transitional housing facility to see if this applies.

Services provided at transitional housing facilities varies from substance abuse treatment, to psychological assistance, job training, domestic violence assistance, etc. The assistance provided varies, but it is generally affordable and low cost housing.
