General Information:
Family Supportive Housing provides up to 90 days of shelter for single-parent, dual-parent and working professionals. The Shelter is open 24-hours a day. The Shelter provides a private room for families and 3 meals a day. Through other organizations the Shelter also provides: - Case management - On-site child care - On-site Head Start - Employment preparation and referrals - Housing referrals and assistance - After school tutoring - Computer classes - Parenting and nutrition classes - ESL and lifestyle classes - Aftercare for eligible families For more information Family Supportive Housing or visit the Family Supportive Housing website.

Helpful Definitions For Family Supportive Housing:
Supportive Housing Programs that provide an alternative living arrangement for individuals who, because of age, disability, substance abuse, mental illness, chronic homelessness or other circumstances, are unable to live independently without care, supervision and/or support to help them in the activities of daily living; or who need access to case management, housing support, vocational, employment and other services to transition to independent living.
